    My husband and I have been together for 7 years and this week he announced that he is dating someone else and shared that he has no intention of ending the relationship; choosing her.

    I've filed for divorce https://onlinedivorcecalifornia.com and will be moving out of state this week to spend some time with my family. I'm worried that the loss of my father will affect my 2 year old son.

    To be sure; I am not an abusive parent. Our relationship had been dead for many years and was constantly on the verge of breaking up. All of this hurts because I wanted nothing more than to save my family, but sometimes that doesn't happen.

    How can I help him get used to the fact that he will not actively see his dad every day. I dread the day when he asks, "Where's daddy?" When we are completely gone this week.
